Situated on the shores of Oulton Broad, the Wherry Hotel offers comfort, friendly service and exceptional views over the Broad. As a business venue, or a place to enjoy a relaxing stay, the Wherry Hotel offers traditional hospitalilty and charm. 

Our 31 en-suite bedrooms, including two Executive Suites offer comfort, luxury and affordability with many having delightful views over the Broad. All rooms are equipped with a widescreen television with Freeview and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The hotel provides a lift to all floors, a free private car park overlooking the Broad and boat moorings if you chose to visit by water. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel and all bedrooms have been recently refurbished to modern standards. 

Open daily to residents and non-residents, the Castle Carvery restaurant is the perfect dining area, both for a conference break at lunchtime, or for evening dining with friends or guests. The light airy room overlooks the Broad, making it the ideal setting to sit back and relax.

Our Lounge Bar offers a Light Bites Menu as well as Fine Wines and Ales. Every day, our Carvery serves a selection of best joints roasted to perfection, plus a vegetarian option.

Our Full Menu is available all day until 10pm and offers a selection of delicious traditional fayre and homecooked dishes. We also serve a superb Full English Breakfast available from 7am daily.

If you would prefer something a little more private, then why not take advantage of our private dining areas, where your choice of menu can be served in the privacy and close company of colleagues or guests.

Too busy to stop for lunch? Working buffets of your choice can be served in the conference room, ideal for quick working lunches.
