5 acres of gardens & rewilded pasture, nestling in the rolling hills and wooded valleys of the Devon countryside. Nine quality cottages in an idyllic private setting, in real countryside

A rural escape for families, walkers, cyclists, anglers potters, surfers, golfers & gardeners.

There is so much to enjoy at Torridge House Cottages, lovely cottages, great atmosphere, 5 acres, wide open gardens, animals to care for, amazing views, summer pool, games room, play room and reading room. Easy reach of many activities, attractions and sandy beaches.

Idyllic setting in easy reach of good food, sandy beaches, golfing, cycling, walks, fishing, surfing, history, forests, gardens, reserves, market towns, family attractions. And Jax’s potters’wheel, Marina’s therapies, village hall skittles in our little village.

Eight of our cottages are set in extensive mature gardens and grounds. (the 9th is a short step away through our cobbled yard). Proper houses, two are on the compact side at 42.6sq m, they offer good size attractive accommodation (up to 160 sq m) & are very well equipped.

Centrally heated, 3 have log stoves. All have dishwashers.

6 have washing machines and tumble driers.

4 have 6′ super-king beds.

5 have 5′ king beds.

Beds prepared ready for your arrival with bath and hand towels. 

Full-size cots, loo seats, steps & nursery equipment freely available.

Basics include: dishwasher and laundry tablets etc, spare loo rolls in each bathroom, cleaning cloths, sponges, washing up needs and so forth. The cottage will be warm and cosy ready for your arrival. 

The walled swimming pool area is an outdoor suntrap, it is available as long as is feasible, this generally means towards May half term through to mid September.

We have a play room with murals, comfy sofas and chairs.

Games room has pool, table tennis, air hockey and table football. 

Quiet room/private office space has toys, games local information etc. 

Fast wifi in all cottages, quiet room/office and around the gardens. 

Laundry room with detergents etc

Public freezer with shop bought family food available at cost.

Walled outdoor swimming and splash pool.
