Built as a Georgian show piece in 1832 the hotel now has 43 en-suite bedrooms, a fine restaurant, coffee shop, Real Ale bars and lounges with open coal gas fire.

All 43 bedrooms including private suites and family rooms have full en-suite facilities, with colour TV, dataports, direct dial telephone, 24 hour room service and wake up calls.

For your convenience all the rooms are furnished with a coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There’s a lift to all floors and we have facilities for our disabled guests.

Enjoy a mid-morning coffee and cake in the coffee shop, a lunch-time taste of Real Ale in the bar, or a leisurely afternoon tea in the garden or on the terrace, as you admire the spectacular panoramic views across the water to the mountains of Snowdonia.

In the evening relax in the Hotel’s cocktail bar or comfortable lounge and take an aperitif before adjourning to our restaurant.

The Bulkeley serves a variety of delicious menus and we pride ourselves on cooking the best fresh produce creatively, complemented by an extensive wine list. Our food is regularly served to piano accompaniment.
