The Bell Inn is located in Ducklington, an idyllic village situated only a mile off the A40, providing guests with easy and quick access to Oxford city, the beauties of the Cotswolds and other local attractions.

We are ideally situated for your golf break, boasting eleven golf courses within fifteen miles of the Inn.

As the only public house in Ducklington, The Bell Inn is the heart of the community and a statement of the village’s history and traditions. From the repurposed church pews to the glass-topped old well in the bar, there are mementos of Ducklington’s history throughout the inn that allows visitors to step back into the village’s history.

Even the inn’s pub games are nods to its history, at the bar there is a game of Ringing The Bull set up at the fireplace, a game supposedly brought back during the Crusades, whilst in the courtyard locals and visitors alike play games of Aunty Sally.

The Bell Inn’s thatched-roofs and exposed beams provide it with quaint and homely feel, these features are found throughout the premise, from the bar and the country kitchen to the five rooms upstairs. All the rooms have en-suites and are accessed via an external entrance separate from the bar, to provide our guests with an extra degree of privacy and security. We offer a variety of rooms from family rooms to single and twin rooms.

Our Country Kitchen is our homely restaurant that offers a traditional menu with a creative twist, including dishes such as seasonal homemade quiches, our signature twice-cooked chips and our famous Ducklington’s filled ciabattas. The restaurant is located inside the old cottage where our patrons can sit by the original fireplace and enjoy our home-cooked dishes. On Sundays, we offer a traditional carvery between 12-midday and 4pm.
