Ideally situated just half a mile from Royal Dornoch Golf Club, this 1893 built town house was modernised in 2000 to provide high grade accommodation in Dornoch and now offers affordable B&B in the town centre.

Breakfast is taken in our bright dining room. Most rooms have superking double bed or two single bed format and have comfortable rocking chairs and four rooms have Jacuzzi or whirlpool baths.

Private parking for three cars is available in the garden grounds, which include a patio area with a water feature. Residents may use the garden table and chairs here to enjoy the surroundings. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the building.

There are many restaurants, cafes and bars within a short stroll starting with the Eagle across the road and ending with the Royal Dornoch Golf Club itself with some fine menus and the Royal Golf Hotel.

Most rooms have very high ceilings with fine cornices. The windows are large, making all the rooms very bright. Three rooms can either have superking double bed or two single bed format and have comfortable rocking chairs. Four rooms have Jacuzzi or whirlpool baths, three have a fridge. Centrally heated, all have TV with a satellite sports channel.

We include a complimentary tea/coffee tray, soap, bath/shower gel and shampoo. Each room has a hair drier. Towels are large and high quality.

There are 57 Golf Courses in the Highlands to suit all. Why not make your stay a few days longer and take in some.

With many historic courses that set the standards for the game from the North Coast and all around our Moray Firth you will also find some exceptional New courses. Not least of which is the Castle Stuart course just across the Firth which is hosting the Scottish Open.

For the historically interested, Tom Morris and James Braid’s original designs are still played today in flourishing clubs up and down the East Sutherland coast and Moray Firth supported by tourists and local members all the year around.

And, of course, our own Royal Dornoch is consistently rated within the top 20 in the World Championship courses. We also have the Struie 18 hole and Carnegie close-by at Skibo castle.
