The Spinnaker is a small, family run hotel in Gourock, Scotland's classic seaside holiday town. With Glasgow Airport less than half an hour away, it's a convenient stopover before you hop onto the ferry to tour the Highlands & Islands. But first, why not linger a while and enjoy sailing, golf, fishing and many other attractions of the Clyde Coast!

Come on in and see what we have to offer you...

The Spinnaker offers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices, and has picture postcard views across the Firth of Clyde.

The Hotel is located in a listed sandstone Victorian terrace in Albert Road, which runs along the coast midway between the two ferry terminals at Gourock. The view is quite simply stunning, looking out across the water to the Holy Loch, with the mountains of Argyll rising up behind Dunoon and Kilcreggan to mark the start of the Highlands.

With the recent expansion, the Spinnaker now has eight bedrooms, all freshly decorated and furnished to ensure your complete satisfaction, including:

* ensuite facilities with shower
* colour television
* coffee/tea making tray
* central heating

We now can cater for guests with disabilities in a ground floor room with wheelchair access and specially adapted ensuite facilities.

Off street parking is available alongside the Hotel.

The Spinnaker caters for small business meetings as well as private parties of all types, including wedding receptions, anniversary dinners and christenings. They can accommodate up to 30 for seated meals. Standard Buffet and Finger Buffet Menus are available, but staff will be delighted to let you suggest your own.

All food is homemade at the Spinnaker, with an emphasis on fresh local produce and simple but meticulous preparation. Vegetarians are catered for and children have a special menu. And look out for our special dishes each day "On the Blackboard".
