Golf courses near RossMor Guest House

RossMor Guest House is our home in Grantown on Spey. We chose to live in the Cairngorms National Park because it’s a peaceful, beautiful and unspoilt place and we love sharing it with guests. Make RossMor your home from home whilst visiting the Scottish Highlands. Guest reviews have provided RossMor with 9.8 out of 10 on Booking.com and 4.9 out of 5 on TripAdvisor.

Situated just one mile from Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club, (there are five golf courses within 15 miles), RossMor is a beautiful Victorian Villa with breathtaking views to the front of the house and only a five minute walk to the High Street. Start your day watching the light dancing on the Cromdale Hills and spotting wildlife on the front lawn from our large Dining Room while we serve you a tasty breakfast. At the end of your day, relax on the comfy sofas in the Guest Lounge, maybe sipping a wee dram, and watch the sun go down over the hills and woodlands whilst planning the next day’s activities. And if it’s a wee bit chilly, we will light the fire to make it extra warm and cozy!

RossMor was built in 1887 and retains many of the original Victorian features, such as striking stained glass windows in the stairwell, stunning pitch pine woodwork throughout and spectacular etched glass in the front doors. The interior is furnished with a blend of antiques and modern facilities to make your stay a quality, authentic and comfortable one.

We have six bright, spacious ensuite bedrooms offering quality accommodation for your stay with us.

Four rooms are on the first floor and two rooms are on the second floor. All rooms are designed with your comfort in mind and have lots of little extras that guests love!

The rooms at the front of the house have wonderful views across the Cairngorms National Park to the Cromdale Hills, Anagach Woods and lochan. Choose Cairngorm or Cromdale on the first floor, or Spey on the second floor for these views. You get these same amazing views from the Guest Lounge and the Dining Room. Watching the light on the hills is the perfect way to start and end your day.

All rooms have good wi-fi with fibre optic broadband.

At RossMor, we make breakfast special serving locally sourced produce, homemade breads, preserves and granola. We make at least two types of bread each day for guests. Our jams are made using fruits from the garden and local farms when available. We use only the finest ingredients from Highland Wholefoods in our granolas. We are lucky to have such good quality local suppliers for all our food produce.

We serve breakfast in our Dining Room, a very grand room with high ceilings, period furniture and stunning views. There are separate tables for all groups of guests.

We can cater for most dietary requirements with prior notice.

There is private guest parking at the back and side of the house and there is hard standing at the back of the house for motorbikes and cycles. We also have a locked garage at the rear of the property where motorbikes, cycles, golf clubs, fishing tackle and snow sports equipment can be securely stored.
