This 18th Century Inn (Est. 1725) is nestled in the heart of the Borders with its beautiful surrounding countryside. Over the last 2 years, under new ownership, the Queenshead has embarked on an on-going re-furbishment programme to provide a fresh, contemporary feel.

The new owners have many years experience in the industry, and it shows with their constant attention to detail. Here you will find a warm and friendly welcome in this family run establishment. Whether looking for a relaxing holiday, weekend break, or a memorable meal, the Queens Head Hotel will provide you with the perfect setting.

We offer a choice of 13 en-suite bedrooms for those staying in the area, as well as a choice of dining. either in our Restaurant or in the informal Courtyard Bar.

In each of our individually designed rooms you will find every effort has been made to ensure a comfortable stay while you are our guest. 

Several of our rooms also have LAN connection. A full Scottish breakfast is included in the room tariff, for all to enjoy.

We have rooms that will cater for all parties and include, doubles, twins, as well as family variations. If you cannot find a suitable combination for your booking, please call us and we will endeavour to accommodate where possible.

Restaurant – As well as our lunch/dinner menu, we specialise in hosting family events and occasions. We can cater for up to 24 paxs in our Restaurant, or alternatively for larger, more informal groups we have the Courtyard Bar.

We pride ourselves on giving a personal service in helping organise any private group event.
