Dating back to the to 1700’s, The Portaferry Hotel is steeped in history and surrounded by the breath-taking landscape of Strangford Lough.

We are situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Portaferry on The Ards peninsula, only 45 minutes drive from Belfast’s city centre.

Our accommodation consists of an award-winning restaurant in which we always endeavour use the best seasonal, local produce, a cosy bar and fourteen charming, spacious bedrooms – several with stunning lough views.

Our accommodation consists of fourteen individually decorated en suite bedrooms. Each is furnished with elegant antique furniture in keeping with the historic charm of the building. Several of our rooms also offer stunning views across Strangford Lough.
