Golf courses near The Huntly Arms Hotel

One of the oldest coaching inns to be found in Scotland, the Huntly Arms Hotel was first built in 1432 and has since played host to Jacobite leaders and royalty – Queen Victoria often rested at the hotel on her way to Balmoral.

Based in the heart of Royal Deeside, the hotel has recently been refurbished and offers modern amenities and subtle décor, while retaining much of its traditional charm and character.

The Huntly Arms has 50 en suite bedrooms, junior suites and family suites. Each room includes:

  • Direct dial telephones
  • Freeview TV
  • Tea and coffee making facilities

The Grill Room Restaurant, which overlooks the hotel’s landscaped gardens and Aboyne Park, offers a wide selection of dishes using the finest locally sourced produce. Guests can also choose from an extensive wine list to complement each dish.

The Lounge Bar and lively Tavern Bar serve a variety of freshly prepared bar meals, snacks, and hot and cold drinks.

For golf lovers, Aboyne has two 18 hole golf courses that are open to everyone. Both courses are set next to each other, facing south towards Loch Aboyne and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of north east Scotland.
