Harris Hotel Hebrides

A warm welcome awaits you at this well-established hotel, which has been family owned and run for over 100 years. Situated in Tarbert, the hotel is the ideal base from which to tour Harris, Lewis and the other islands.

We offer traditional island hospitality, superb food and a relaxing atmosphere, and however brief your visit, whether on business or on holiday, at Harris Hotel you will be assured of an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Whatever your interest, be it outdoor pursuits or the chance to unwind in comfortable and peaceful surroundings, Harris has something to offer every visitor.

The hotel has twenty-two bedrooms, most of which have been extensively refurbished. Twenty are en-suite, and two have private facilities.

All our rooms are different, and have been individually decorated, but we have four different classifications of rooms, as follows:

· Standard – Smaller rooms, with views towards the bay.

· Select – Refurbished rooms, some with views.

· Superior – Larger refurbished rooms, some with views.

· De-lux – Modern, refurbished rooms, with adjoining sitting area. Sea views.

All rooms have televisions, hair dryers and tea & coffee making facilities. Family rooms are available; rates and room types are dependent on the number and ages of the children.

We have two sun-lounges for our guests to relax in, and a small television lounge, and offer free WI-FI internet connection in all the downstairs areas for those with their own lap-tops. Otherwise we provide the free use of an internet terminal.

There is also a small library and a compendium of board-games for your enjoyment.
