Awarded Best Small Country Hotel in the Scotlish Islands 2016. This ancient, island inn has been completely refurbished and is now a charming boutique hotel. Soak up the stunning views across Lamlash Bay to the Holy Isle, unwind with lunch or drinks on the terrace, enjoy the best of local produce in the popular restaurant and relax with after dinner drinks in the snug.

This small, 13 room, family owned and run hotel offers all mod cons plus a fresh style which compliments the age of the building and its beautiful island setting.

The Glenisle Hotel is nestled in the charming village of Lamlash the hotel boasts one of the most beautiful locations on the Isle of Arran; looking across Lamlash Bay toward the Holy Isle which rises 1,000 feet out of the sea.

This charming, ancient island inn is now an award-winning boutique hotel.

Once you have experienced Arran from the comfort of the Glenisle Hotel you might find yourself, like so many others, coming back year after year for a regular break which both relaxes and revitalises.

The Talisman Bar is named after the steamer which used to travel between Glasgow and Lamlash. We stock a good range of Arran whiskies and Ales as well as the standard fare. We are also happy to serve espresso, cappucino, latte plus other coffees. We are very proud of our range of teas which is the easily the largest on the island. Take your drinks out to the terrace or curl up in the cozy snug with its large, comfy armchairs in the charming atmosphere of exposed wooden floors and rough, sandstone walls and it's large, ancient fireplace.

The Library & Lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good book, meet friends for a game of bridge or scrabble (we'll supply the cards and the scrabble board), or just relax with a drink. Situated right at the front of the building it has stunning views over Lamlash Bay towards the Holy Isle. In the colder weather the open fire makes it a cozy retreat.
