The Cumberland Hotel is a ‘B’ listed detached stone Victorian house of character and architectural interest. Built in the 1850’s, it has been carefully refurbished to retain many of its original features, and lies in its own attractive grounds overlooking the main A8 tourist route into Edinburgh, within 10 minutes walk from Princes Street and within 10 minutes drive of Edinburgh Airport. 

Whether based at the Cumberland or in Corstorphine, we pride ourselves in offering a superior level of hotel accommodation within elegant surroundings. Tastefully furnished, rooms are well-appointed to ensure a comfortable stay.

Our exclusively ensuite room types vary from standard single, double twin and family, to superior rooms and suites suitable for up to 5 persons.

We also offer Self-Catering accommodation for longer stays (minimum of 1 month). Please contact reservations for more information.
