Built in 1839 Braidwood is an elegant Town House built within the original grounds of Melrose Abbey. Situated virtually next door to the start of 'St. Cuthbert’s Way', it has everything you could require from a single night to a longer stay.

Over a number of years Braidwood has gained an excellent reputation for its high standards and excellent facilities. Now under the ownership of Mike & Helen Dalgetty - previously of the Kings Arms Hotel, with over 30 years experience within the Tourist industry. You can be assured of the highest standards that can be offered. 

The 4 guest bedrooms with their own individual charm have been tastefully modernised. The family room plus a further twin room are both en-suite, while 2 double rooms have their own spacious bathrooms just a few steps away.

All rooms have TV, hair dryer and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast is served in the well furnished Dining Room with all tastes catered for. Any special dietary requirements should be requested on arrival.
