We have a special arrangement with the Eskdale Golf Course for reduced green fees. Any guest at the Bower House Inn can play at a discount price of £10 per round at this idyllic course which is one of the most scenic in England. We can also recommend the Seascale Golf Course with its spectacular sea and fell views.

The Bower House Inn offers accommodation in the original Coaching Inn and in the converted Barn.

The Bower House Inn has a well deserved reputation for quality food served in a welcoming atmosphere. The Bar and Restaurant offer homemade food using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The Restaurant seats up to 30 guests and is ideal for private functions.
Our Bar retains its old world charm and offers a warm, convivial atmosphere. There is a raging log fire so you can sit back, relax and enjoy our extensive range of good quality wines and our ever changing selection of well kept real ale, including our own specially brewed Bower House Ale.
The Hotel is fully registered to provide your Lake District celebration, be it weddings, birthdays, christenings, in fact anything worth celebrating! For larger parties of up to 140 guests, a traditional marquee can be arranged in the gardens.
