Turriff Golf Club
Now over a hundred years old, with a par of 70, Turriff Golf Club proudly presents itself as a Jewel in the Crown, one of the Gems of North East Golf Courses. Our inland course, with tight fairways lined with mature trees, has the added interest of water, where the Turra burn and River Deveron cross and line fairways.
Fairways are lush and green with well-paced greens adorning the course. Bunkers are well sighted to try even the best of golfers. The par 5 12th hole, the longest on the course sets a challenge for even the longest driver while the short par 3 4th hole, with the green protected by bunkers and out of bounds close by is a challenge in its own right.
A convenient practice area with chipping greens and bunkers is located next to our large car park, while the putting green borders one side of our Clubhouse. The clubhouse is well sited in the middle of the course, housing excellent changing and locker facilities. Members and visitors alike are always assured a warm welcome in our comfortable and spacious lounge, as our bar staff are renowned for their friendliness.
The dining room offers first class meals and snacks at reasonable prices, obtainable from our chef George Graham. Attached to our clubhouse is our well-stocked golf shop presided over by our Professional Craig Mackie.
The panoramic views of the Deveron valley and Forglen estate across the river Deveron, and the town of Turriff which fringes one side of the course only add to the playing and nineteenth hole experience.
