Thorpeness is a unique golfing destination for a Golf Break on the Suffolk Heritage coast, boasting one of the most challenging and enjoyable golf courses in Suffolk. The golf course, designed by James Braid in 1922 is a suffolk coastal heathland golf course offering a tough challenge to all levels of player.
The course consists of 18 holes – 6432 yards, par 69 for men (SS70) and par 74 (SS72) for ladies. The course winds through silver birch, pine trees gorse and heather and was described by the Sunday Telegraph Golfing Guide as “Reminiscent of the inland glories of Sunningdale and Woodhall Spa”.
