Founded in 1817, Scotscraig is the 13th Oldest Golf Club in the World. St Andrews and more particularly The St Andrews Society of Golfers, later to become The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, played a leading part in founding The Scotscraig Golf Club in 1817.

The lands of Scotscraig have always been closely connected with St Andrews. The Gold Medal was first played for in 1818 and is still played for and treasured to the present day. We are delighted to welcome golfers from around the world, in order that they may experience our fine golf course and clubhouse facilities.

Why not enjoy a coffee prior to your round, followed by an excellent high tea in our recently refurbished Playfair's Dining Room. Meals, snacks and refreshments are also served throughout the day in the Maitland-Dougall Lounge.

Advanced tee reservations can be made by phoning 01382 552515 or E-Mail us on scotscraig@scottishgolf.com

Why not spend the day at Scotscraig and enjoy the experience of one of the World's oldest golf courses with the traditions of the game still available for the golf fanatic to relish. A golfing memorabilia display throughout the clubhouse tells the story of this historic golf club from 1817 to the present day.

A must for golfers interested in the history of the game
