Newport was the host of the Ryder Cup 2010, one of the largest sporting events in the world. Caerleon Campus is a short drive from the new Twenty Ten course – the only golf course purpose-built for staging the Ryder Cup.
Caerleon Campus at the University of Wales, Newport is a perfect base for golfers, walkers, cyclists and sightseers alike. The Roman village and surroundings of Caerleon are rich in historical interest including an amphitheatre, Roman baths and a number of medieval castles. A good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops are all within the locality.
Rooms are single en-suite, and arranged in flats of 5 rooms sharing one kitchen. Accommodation is offered from late June to mid Sept, subject to availability.
