The Ivy Rooms is a bright and contemporary hotel located in the heart of Ayr on Scotland's West coast. Conveniently located for Ayr Town Centre, Ayr Racecourse, Prestwick Airport and local golf courses. The recently renovated interior offers guests a bright and airy feel with high Victorian ceilings and very comfortable surroundings.

Our 13 well appointed rooms have been recently refurbished. All with en-suite power showers the 11 doubles and 2 singles are bright, airy and pleasant making them an ideal place to take it easy in between the many local activities on offer.
All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and our friendly staff offer room service 24/7.
Our 2 dining rooms create the perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy the delicious fresh local produce served up by experienced chefs. The menu is varied to suit every taste, although the seafood and steaks are not to be missed.
Our hand picked wine list will ensure you can find the perfect accompaniment to your meal and if you are not sure which wine to choose our trained staff will be more than happy to help.
Our versatile dining space is as well suited to smaller, intimate parties as it is for larger gatherings. If you would like us to host an evening please call and we would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail.
Our bespoke function room is the perfect place for large gatherings. Offering space and comfort in equal measure we are experienced catering for a wide variety of occasions, from weddings, to private parties and business events. We can comfortably cater for 100 seated guests and our function coordinators will ensure your parties individual needs are met.
If you have more intimate dining needs then our private dining room offers the smaller gathering the ultimate dining experience.
As the home of Open Golf Ayrshire offers a depth in quantity and quality that cannot be beaten. With 3 Open Championship Golf Courses (Old Prestwick, Royal Troon and Turnberry) in close proximity the Ivy Rooms location ensures that you are at the centre of things.
