The Globe Hotel mixes the Traditional with the Modern, stay in on of our comfortable bedrooms, eat in the bar, then visit the 'Outback' function room. Situated at the edge of the Lake District, 3 miles from Cockermouth Golf Club, 5 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake and 8 miles from the Solway Coast, this is an ideal base for all the local amenities.
The hotel has thirty bedrooms all tastefully and comfortably furnished. We offer double, twin, single or family accommodation. All have hot drink trays, colour television, radio, telephone and central heating.
Our first floor restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents, serving a wide range of cuisine using fresh local produce wherever possible and a good selection of wines and aperitifs.
Our two fully licensed bars off guests a selection of beers from around the world, including our local Jennings Brew.
