The Cross Keys is a Georgian grade II listed building situated in the delightful village of Llanymynech which straddles the border of Shropshire, England and Powys, Wales.

A perfect location for golf holidays, exploring the beautiful countryside and visiting the many heritage sites all within easy distance. Independently run a warm and friendly welcome awaits all guests.

The building has 6 bedrooms perfect for accommodating couples, families, singles and groups of friends or colleagues. The Cross Keys serves traditional British food with an emphasis on fresh, local and seasonal produce. 

The Cross Keys has 6 bedrooms decorated in a comfortable British style. Each room is equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is either full English or continental.

The menu changes seasonally and offers good food at reasonable prices. 

The bar is an ideal meeting place for guests and local residents. There is a selection of British ales (including local real ale from Stonehouse Brewery) and continental lagers.

Shropshire and the Welsh borders are blessed with an abundance of small independent real ale breweries, 5 of which are within 30 minutes of The Cross Keys, 2 of these real ales are always available as well as guest beers.

The Cross Keys is one of those rare buildings where by standing in the front door you can have a foot in 2 countries – England and Wales.

You can simple relax in the bar with your drinks or enjoy one of the traditional pub games including: Pool, Darts, Backgammon or Chess.
