Temple Country Retreat and Spa.
Temple – an adult only destination spa just an hour west of Dublin – is there to help replace what everyday life takes out of you. From sleeping to dining, from treatment to therapy, everything revolves around one simple philosophy: eat healthily, drink wisely and sleep well, while the stresses and tensions of your body are attended to.
With over eighty individual treatments and an array of activities on offer, there are many different ways to enjoy your stay.
For many, the appeal of the spa is the absence of structure. Having your time as your own, to spend as you wish, Health and Wellnesswithout being directed, is the route to relaxation for many Temple guests.
Today, Temple has 23 bedrooms located in the beautiful cloistered spa building with an internal garden and country views. All are decorated to the highest standard with king sized beds and spacious ensuite bathrooms.
Two luxurious suites, the Slieve Bloom and the Cnocastia, offer the highest standard of accommodation, each equipped with Jacuzzis and balconies with panoramic views.
Food is one of life's joys, and in the Garden Room at Temple we celebrate the best of indigenous and international produce.
Head chef David Godin , with his roots in the culinary traditions of his native France, apprenticeships in Michelin starred restaurants, followed by sojourns in South Africa and the Seychelles, and now a year in Ireland, brings an international dimension to our native cuisine.
