We are easily found behind the football stadium in Beatrice Road. We are close to junction 7 of the A14 and can access any trading area of Kettering in 10 minutes. A great base to explore and work in Northamptonshire.

We are close to Boughton House, Althorp House, Kirby Hall, Deene are all nearby. Rockingham Speedway, and Silverstone are within easy access. Football grounds of Peterborough, Northampton, Rushden and diamond and of course Kettering are around. Kettering 100 metres away. Rugby grounds of Northampton and Leicester are easily found from here.

Lovely villages and the unspoilt countryside of Northamptonshire are surrounding us. The totally unique English school towns of Oundle, Oakham and Uppingham make it a great place to discover.

Pennels is privately owned and located in a quiet area of Kettering. The Guest House was acquired in 1976 by the present owners and has become one of the most recommended in the area. Many visitors, from all over the world, have stayed and formed lasting relationships.

Children are catered for and can play in the secure private garden. The house itself has been extended and maintained to a very high standard. All rooms are clean and fresh. We pride ourselves on the first impression we create. The rooms are colour co-ordinated with en-suite facilities. Each room has it's own TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have DVD Televisions. We have a library of DVD's. There is even a choice of satellite programme!

Kettering is an old market town situated in the heart of the Rockingham Forest country. Pretty Northamptonshire villages and stately homes surround the town. Tea rooms, pubs, country walks, sports facilities and factory shoe shops abound in this area. (Cheney's, Dr Martens, Loakes).

Situated in Kettering town centre is a museum depicting the shoe industry. The art gallery and local theatres (Derngate Northampton) are well worth a visit. William Knibb, a man responsible for the abolition of the slave trade, hailed from Kettering. The home of Dr Martens shoes is a few miles away.

Rockingham Speedway, for concerts and Ascar racing, is a racetrack available for cars and Motorbikes. Race a Ferrari around the oval!

Wicksteed park is a well known leisure park and a major tourist attraction.(entrance on foot is free).Rockingham castle ,a centre for Norman administration, is only 6 miles away. It has been the setting for many film backdrops. Althorp house, the burial site of Lady Diana is only 15 miles away.
Kettering has many leisure facilities at the KLV centre. As well there is : Golf (Kettering, Oundle, Corby municipal course), swimming, rambling (Waendel walk) horse riding, racing (Rockingham, Santa Pod), football (Rushden & Diamonds), rugby (Northampton Saints, Leicester Tigers, Kettering).
