Moorpark House is a grand yet welcoming four star Ayrshire venue, home to some of Scotland's most impressive interiors and classical, handmade soft furnishings. Located in Ayrshire, near Glasgow, Scotland; the sweeping drive and the magnificent door and hard carved oak hallway are a prelude to enjoying a service and food only matched the richly elegant décor that includes individually designed en-suite bedrooms.

Your choice of reception rooms includes: the luxurious Gold Room with Italian hand painted gold ceiling, the elegant, pillared Marble Room, the spacious Knox Room with wall to wall windows and hand painted murals or the Garden Room tastefully planned for small private parties. A famously historic building, The Moorpark House has been completely refurbished during which the grounds, lawns, cornicing, gold ceilings, chandeliers, marble pillars, Oak panelling, massive fire places and stained glass windows were restored to their original splendour.

Around almost every corner you will find hidden gems with interesting stories regarding their origination. Most importantly all have been retained within a hotel that provides superlative amenities as expected of a top class service. To stay at the Moorpark House can be the start of a most interesting cultural and historic tour across Ayrshire and Glasgow.

A four star Ayrshire hotel with 12 double rooms, each featuring its own style of interior decoration and exquisite ensuite facilities. All finished with handmade soft furnishings to be luxuriously comfortable. All the rooms enjoy views out to the croquet lawns, or down the tree lined drive or out to the moors or across the Ayrshire countryside.

All rooms feature colour television, hairdryer, complimentary Internet connection, Freeview television, bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities. All are accessed by a magnificent stairway featuring world class stained glass windows. Special rates are available at different times of the week and season. Those guests wishing to dine at the hotel in the evening are offered a Table D'Hote menu which is changed daily

The wooden carvings surrounding the bar are a copy of the many fabulous wood carvings that are such a unique feature of the house, yet are indistinguishable from the originals. Situated between the Knox Room and the Gold Room, it is convenient for both, yet is an informal area to meet and chat.

Whilst retaining the elegance of a Scottish mansion house and the traditional aspects of a Scottish castle, it also uniquely has the feel of a sophisticated cocktail bar.
