Maes-Yr-Haf is situated in the village of Parkmill, a well-known location, in the heart of the Gower Peninsular, a place of outstanding natural beauty. It is positioned directly on the South Gower Road, which provides access to the Gower beaches and attractions, and is at the gateway to a public footpath to the renowned Three Cliffs Bay.
A contemporary boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Gower Peninsular, Maes-Yr-Haf is a cool comfort zone offering luxurious rooms and a modern European menu, just a gentle stroll from the award-winning Three Cliffs Bay and centrally-placed for the other beaches of the South Gower Coast, close to Swansea.
Opened in the summer of 2007, what was historically a B&B establishment and former shop, but used as a private house since the 1970’s, has been completely transformed to provide visitors with a sophisticated blend of natural materials, contemporary design and the best of Welsh cuisine.
Our restaurant’s emphasis is on the use of the best quality, fresh produce ranging from local meats, fish and vegetables. Almost everything served is made in our kitchen, including home-made bread pasta and pastries. Our dishes change seasonally with specials taking advantage of not to be missed opportunities from local suppliers of seafood, meats and game.
Maes-Yr-Haf has a fine selection of ensuite rooms luxuriously furnished for your comfort and relaxation. Each room features a unique design created by Hannah Davies of Salt Design
The rooms have both cable and Wi-fi connection, Ipod docking station/radio and a Playstation 2 which doubles as a DVD player for the large flat-screen HDTV’s. In addition to full room service, each room has its own tea and coffee making facilities if preferred.
