Dale Head Hall Hotel, in the English Lake District, offers the ideal starting point for your Lakeland break.
This Jewel of the Lake District, sits alone on the shores of Thirlmere, with superb views of the lake to the front and of Helvellyn to the rear. This is a truly magical and romantic setting, where you can wander down through mature gardens to the lake shore. Look at the splendour of the fells across the lake, turn around and view the majestic slopes of Helvellyn, perhaps the most well known mountain in the English Lake District. This is the place!!
There are 4 different styles of bedroom at Dale Head Hall:
Fellside Rooms
These rooms are part of the original Elizabethan house.
We have three fellside rooms, one standard double room, one twin-bedded room and a family room which sleeps up to four people
Lakeside Rooms
Our Lakeside rooms are all in the Victorian wing at the front of the Hall. Each room has its own individual character and charm and all are tastefully appointed with period fixtures and fittings and offer the discerning guest a beautiful outlook over our gardens to the lake beyond.
Superior Lakesdie Rooms
For that special occasion or simply to give yourself that well deserved treat, these Superior Lakeside rooms offer a superb environment in which to gain that rest and relaxation in the most glorious of settings. These rooms are furnished with either king size or twin beds.
The view from your window is just breathtaking with the gardens unfolding before you, gently sloping down towards the lakeshore and the stunning tranquility of beautiful Lake Thirlmere.
1 twin-bedded room has a private patio and is accessible with a wheelchair.
Four Poster Rooms
For that extra special occasion and to give yourself that well deserved treat, these Four Poster rooms really are pure luxury and offer the ultimate environment in which to gain that rest and relaxation in such a beautiful setting. Perfect for a romantic getaway, these rooms are particularly spacious and offer individually designed and hand crafted period style four-poster beds in keeping with the style and grandeur of a bygone era.
Whichever room you choose (and we have three of these grand rooms), the view from your window is absolutely breathtaking with lovely views of the gardens gently sloping down towards the lakeshore.
