Craighurst’s next door neighbour is the picturesque Strathisla Distillery. But that will not be the only top-tip on your to see and do list. In Keith you can start the famous Whisky trail. Also the Castle trail, Coastal trail and Victorian Heritage Trail are just here to explore.
After a day full of Scottish pleasure, leisure and discoveries return back home again, where you can immerse yourself in one of our themed guest rooms. The Coastal Room feels like your own sea shaped marina. Dive in to ancient history in the rugged Castle Room. Feel pampered and glamorous in the Royal Room. Enjoy the pure atmosphere in the golden brown Whisky Room.
And when morning has broken; smell the most delicious fragrances coming from the kitchen stove. Your home cooked Scottish breakfast is about to be served. Just dig in!
Here at Craighurst Guest House you will feel at home and at ease. The house comprises four special themed guest rooms on the first floor. All the bedrooms have their own private en suite facilities and a ‘cosy corner’ where you can make some coffee or tea and sit down and relax.
For a quiet night in, or a lazy Sunday morning, you can enjoy peace and quiet in our real British lounge. An open fire, soft music, a good book and numerous board games are the perfect ingredients to make your night or day. Planning your day trip for the next day or watching a film; our lounge is your home base to come to.
A truly important part of your stay with us is our home cooked breakfast. In the Breakfast Room we serve you all the ‘Goodies’ you can think of. Fresh local produce cooked on a Rayburn stove will tempt your taste buds. For now we only reveal the ‘Something Fishy’ and our ‘Eggspecialty’. Just come and try it all.
