Our intimate family owned and run hotel is right in the heart of the Borders just four miles from Torwoodlee Golf Club, in the tranquil village of Clovenfords. Nested in the country, but never too far away from all the local amenities.
We believe in good value for money, comfort, friendly service and pride ourselves on our range of fine foods and beverages. So whether you are stopping for a coffee, or staying for a month, you will always feel at home at the Clovenfords Country Hotel.
Once inside your bedroom, we know you’ll feel yourself relax in the warmth of full central heating.
There’s no pretension here, we want you to feel like you are in your own surroundings. Cosseting beds chosen for comfort, blankets and duvets galore, crisp sheets and pillows you can melt into, ensuring you enjoy a wonderful night of restful sleep.
Some rooms have sofas for you to while away the hours on, and desks for you to write at.
There are tea and Coffee making facilities in every room and all the rooms have ensuite facilities with piping hot water to soothe all your aches and pains.
All the rooms have satellite TV, so you can be sure to find something you like.
At present, the Clovenfords has 8 rooms, each one decorated to a high standard and furnished so as to make the guest feel completely at home.
Toast yourself beside the warm glow of a real fire, as you enjoy your favourite tipple in the bar. You’ll find plenty of local characters to keep you company in this friendly, family owned hotel. With over 30 whiskies to sample, you could be here for some time!
For the real ale enthusiast, there are stock and guest ales to taste at your leisure. If you like to hear the person you are talking to, rather than having to shout over a music system, then the Clovenfords is the place for you. We’re not saying it isn’t lively though!
The Borders has 19 Golf courses – each one unique, but all providing uncrowded fairways and great value for money.
