Within an hour’s journey of The Blackford Hotel, there are over fifty golf courses varying from the famous challenging PGA centenary course at Gleneagles to the delightful and possibly the most beautiful nine holer in Killin.

The Hotel was formerly an 1830’s Coaching Inn and still has many of the original features. We offer comfortable accommodation, a choice of dining areas, a well stocked cosy bar and a great location for exploring the local area or for just stopping for a break en-route. Our function room is ideal for weddings, discos, meetings, private dinners and conferences.
We have a total of eight en-suite bedrooms, all individually refurbished, some with baths and some with showers. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer and radio alarm clocks. Our phone system is fully compatible for internet acces.
Some rooms have video recorders and we are happy to provide complimentary video cassettes from our small library.
You can choose from our charcteristic corner turret room (Room 4 pictured above), our other turret room with four poster bed (Room 1), our cosy standard double (Room 2), a twin, single or family room, depending on your requirements.
