If you are a Golf Enthuiast then Augusta Lodge will cater for your every need. Dave, a keen golfer, has extensive knowledge on all the local Westport golf courses and can arrange your every golfing need, from booking Tee Times to Club Hire. Our Guests Lounge has golf memorbelia from all over the world, and reading material to satisfy all tastes. We also have our own 9 hole “All-Weather Synthetic Chipping/Putting Green” where guests can sharpen their short game.
Just 1 mile from the famous Westport Parkland Course, host to the Irish Amateur Close Championship on 4 seperate occasions, this test of golf is also breath-taking for it’s views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. The rising light of Irish Golf, Rory McElroy, won the Irish Amateur Close Championship when it was held at Westport in 2006, at the tender age of 17.
