Wetherby Golf Club which was founded in 1910 is a medium length parkland course that is renowned for its lush fairways. Whilst all 18 holes have individual character and qualities, particularly memorable holes are the sixth, a par 4 which follows the sweeping bend of the River Wharfe, and the eleventh, a picturesque par 3 whose beauty has deceived many a golfer. Remodelling in 2007 has taken out some of the steep hills and added stunning views of the river on six holes. In short, a golf course to suitable for all levels.
