Oswestry Golf Club moved to its present site in 1931 . It is a pleasant undulating parkland course situated 3 miles east of Oswestry and 15 miles west of Shrewsbury, connected by the main A5 trunk road. The city of Chester is only 30 minutes away via the Wrexham A483 bypass. Although you would not describe the course as tight there are many trees, it is feasible to have 'tree trouble' on every hole on the course, but unlikely on some.
