Set in over 100 acres of parkland on the lower slopes of Leckhampton Hill, Lilley Brook offers golfers of all abilities a challenging and enjoyable round on a beautifully maintained course coupled with some of the best views in the Cotswolds.
There is also an excellent clubhouse, a modern, well stocked professional’s shop and practice facilities with an all weather canopy, all contained in a friendly and welcoming environment
Our course is about aspiration and inspiration. The course is in a glorious natural setting, which celebrates many varied species of fine trees including red maples, Indian bean trees, walnuts and oaks. It’s an aesthetic and strategic mix of pleasures for both the eye and the mind.
Our magnificent horse chestnut tree that guards the right-hand approach to the second green is once seen… never forgotten. The course offers more than a few serious challenges for club golfers. The 12th hole, for instance, is a 397-yard par 4 that sweeps uphill to the green. You have to keep your tee shot to the left of the fairway to have the best angle into a green which slopes wickedly from back to front. It is undoubtedly the most difficult hole on the course and one where a par feels likes a birdie. The Lilley Brook course is a testament to a brilliant design that has proudly stood the test of time over many decades.
The thrill and enjoyment of playing our picturesque and historic course is available for visitors to play. On weekends, visitors are allowed to play after midday in the winter and after 13.00pm in the summer.
When you arrive, check-in at the Pro Shop. As well as providing golf carts, trolleys and merchandise, a team of PGA professionals are on-site to give lessons or help with other general enquiries. The newly refurbished men’s changing rooms provide first class facilities expected of a club of this standard. The friendly restaurant and bar are also available to cater for your needs. Prior to your game, warm up on the practice ground or on our excellent putting green.
