The Kendleshire now boasts 27 holes of exciting and challenging golf. The original layout was opened in May 1997 with the third nine coming into play in July 2002. Water comes in to play on 18 of the holes with the 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th and 27th being the most infamous.
The 16th and 18th have become notorious for destroying good scores however the island green 11th has become the hole that most visitors have heard about and can't wait to play. A carbon copy of the 17th at Sawgrass in most ways, even the better players are pleased to leave the green with a three on the card.
